A partnership depicts the union of two characters who collaborate as a team or as a side-kick with its mentor. Supervillains are archetypes of superheroes and therefore are included. The term originated in comics from the training of its counter-part during the 1930s. The list can contain two characters with roles such as side-kicks, partners, squires, mentors, relationships and twins.
