List of Huntik: Secrets & Seekers characters

This article is a list of main characters on the animated TV series Huntik: Secrets & Seekers.

Lok Lambert

Lok was a normal, fun-loving kid, struggling to stay awake in his classes and wishing for a life of adventure. After finding his father's Amulet and becoming a Seeker, Lok puts his enthusiasm, intuition, and NATURAL talent to the test as he is introduced to Sophie Casterwill, Dante Vale, and the world of Seekers. A childhood playing games with his father has bestowed an uncanny knack upon Lok for puzzles, and he now takes on ancient riddles every day of the week. Learning under fire, Lok improves rapidly, on his way to becoming a top Huntik Seeker.Through out the season he progresses greatly, showing at times to be even more powerful than Dante. He also seems to have a powerful will, such as in episode 11 where, in his anger, teleports from the tower to the beach. whatsmore, as the season continues he seems to gain the same amount of grace and agilty as the rest of the team, as well as increased strengh. When he needs a hand, he calls on Cherit or his Titans. Lok has Kipperin, a Titan found with his father's journal, which can attach to his back and give him the ability to fly. He thinks very highly of Dante and once stated that Dante was to him what Metz (Dante's mentor) was to Dante. He has feelings for Sophie. Lok is voiced by Yuri Lowenthal in the English version while KENN takes the role in the Japanese version.

Lok's Titans include:

  • Kipperin- A moth-like titan that can carry people and average sized titans.
  • Freelancer- A knight armed with a large lance whose charge is fierce.
  • Springer- A raccoon titan that can solve any puzzle or trap.

  • Tao- One of the 3 legendary titans that can defeat any opponent with his light. He was taken back to the spirit world by Overloss in the last episode of season 1.
  • Dendras- A puppeteer that attacks with his marionettes that breath fire and ice and can control any titan when used in unison with Baseilard. This titan used its ability to control Overlose and send him back to the spirit world.

Dante Vale

As the Top Operative of the Huntik Foundation, Dante is the king of treasure hunters. With the mind of a hard-boiled detective, the body of an extreme sports athlete, and the nerves of a cowboy gunslinger at high noon, Dante leads the team and serves as a big brother to Lok. He is perhaps the only in his team who has faith in Lok from the beginning. Normally cool, collected and in control, Dante has a soft spot for the bedridden leader of the Foundation, Metz. Dante never hesitates to take on the Organization. His magic grants him superhuman strength and speed, and he can invoke the Titan Caliban, a monster martial artist who fights with a cleaving sword. Dante is not all brute strength however; he has a keen eye for detail and solving puzzles that serves him well on many occasions. He is equally interested in his duties as a Huntik operative and a historian in his own right. He is the Top Seeker of the Huntik Foundation and leader of the team. As per a contract with Sophie, Dante is teaching the kids his personal style of artifact hunting. He keeps a large supply of Titans in reserve for any situation. He has developed feelings for Zhalia. He is voiced by Marc Thompson in the English version while Takanori Hoshino takes the role in the Japanese version.

Dante’s Titans include:

  • Caliban- A aztec-like titan that can fight just about any titan due to his hand to hand combat fighting abilities. He uses a sword, and occasionally a double-sided spear.
  • Solwing- A eagle that can carry even a man and is especially useful for scouting.
  • Metagolem- A giant titan that can pick up even the heaviest of things and is extremely dangerous in melee.
  • Freelancer- A knight armed with a large lance whose charge is fierce.
  • Ignatius- This walking volcano can burn anything in its path.
  • Hoplite- A centaur titan that is part gladiator and part lion that is at its most powerful as a team.
  • Behemoth- One of the 3 legendary titans that can take on 3 whole armies with ease. He was taken back to the spirit world by Overloss in the last episode of season 1.
  • Red Searcher- A flying red eyeball that can spot any trap no matter how well it is hidden.
  • Arch Warder- A plant-like titan that can make it hard to control any titan depending on how powerful it is.
  • Areil- A titan given to him by Metz before he took on the professor. This titan can control the wind and use it in battle.

Sophie Casterwill

Sophie is a book-smart, athletic, honorable, clever young woman of about Lok's age. She seems to be quite proper and mature, but she is not afraid to dish out some punishment to her enemies when needed. Sophie thinks that what she learns in books can prepare her for the real world, and that tends to get her into trouble.

As the last surviving noble of the Casterwill family, Sophie has been raised from birth to be a Seeker. She is not actually part of the Huntik Foundation, but they have an alliance based on the need to fight evil. Sophie can use powerful attack and defense magic along with Sabriel, an elegant Titan that favors speed over brawn.

Sophie uses her money and influence to hire Dante to teach her and Lok how to be true Seekers of his level. She and Zhalia Moon don't interact well, as Sophie prides herself on her skills and Lok has on occasion said that Zhalia’s skills are even better than Sophie’s, unintentionally hurting her ego. However after Zhalia joins them for sure, she does show some compassion towards her. And afterwards, they have a grudging respect for each other. She has feelings for Lok. Despite those feelings, she is one of the first to criticize her classmate. She is voiced by Rebecca Soler in the English version while Sanae Kobayashi takes the role in the Japanese version.

Sophie’s Titans include:

  • Sabriel- A quick fencer that can be difficult to defeat in close combat. Sophie's preferred Titan, and one she considered to be a friend. She is the only Titan we have actually seen "die" during a battle with the titan Dominator. Sabriel was so loyal to Sophie, she refused to retreat to defend Sophie, resulting in her Talisman shattering as she dissolved into nothing.
  • Icarus- A half man half bird titan that attacks with arrows.
  • Hoplite- A centaur titan that is part gladiator and part lion that is at its most powerful as a team.
  • Feyone- A beautiful but strong opponent when in battle that can clear a way straight to the enemy's leader.
  • Albion- A powerful Casterwill knight that can't be affected by mind control because of its fierce loyalty to its master and whose sword can hurt even Behemoth.

Zhalia Moon

Zhalia is a tough, streetwise, elegant, and capable lone wolf, always ready to take on her team's good humor with her sharp tongue and sarcasm. Zhalia was once a rival of Dante's, but now she is part of his team. An orphan, her troubled past is shrouded in mystery. She has a connection to the Organization, but she shows no sign of betraying her teammates. Zhalia does not think very highly of Lok, but she has praised him for his courage on occasion. In a fight, Zhalia prefers not to get her hands dirty. She uses magic to enhance her speed and confuse the enemy's mind. Zhalia can also call on Gareon, a small Essence capable of turning invisible and stunning opponents. She also has feelings for Dante, once saying he meant more to her than anything. Her developing feelings for Dante may be causing her to question her loyalties. In the last episode of the first season, it is revealed that Zhalia still had Gar-Ghoul, even though she was supposed to hand it over to a Huntik Foundation safehouse. In season two, Zhalia gets her memories back from when she was a little girl as an orphan child. Zhalia then remembers that she and her brother were once orphans at a foster home and that they ran away together into the woods. Zhalia was told to run away from the woods by her brother who was tackled down by a ghost-like titan. She is lost in the woods and got separated from her brother until Klaus found her and asked her if she wants to be part of the organization as a spy. When she is finally reunited with her brother, Zhalia asked him how he got away from that spirit world titan. She is voiced by Karen Strassman in the English version while Ayumi Kinoshita takes the role in the Japanese version.

Zhalia’s Titans include:

  • Gareon- A iguana-like titan that can turn invisible, which is perfect for spying.
  • King Basilisk- A reptile like titan that can turn anything and anyone to stone with his gaze.
  • Hoplite- A centaur titan that is part gladiator and part lion that is at its most powerful as a team.
  • Strix- Mosquito-like titans that can take out even a strong titan when they explode. They can also cut through anything. Strix's amulet can have either 2 or 3 in it.
  • Kilthane- A loyal knight that will never disobey his master and will never run from a fight.
  • Gar-Ghoul- A stone gargoyle that has the unique ability to control water and can scare even the toughest of evil spirits.

Cherit

Cherit is a capricious, winged Titan who is filled with wisdom and advice on the ancient world of Titans and Seekers. He was found by Dante Vale, who was surprised that Cherit could talk, as most Titans do not have that ability. Cherit loves to teach humans history and the basics of life. While he has existed since titans ruled the world, he claims not to be able to remember how they fell. Cherit has very little combat ability, but he can charge other titans and seekers' powers, along with a powerful beam that leaves him exhausted after its use.

Scarlet Bryne

A skilled red headed member of the Huntik foundation who was renowned in the group for her beauty. She was Lok’s babysitter in Ireland. Lok had a crush on her as a child. She has a distinct Irish accent. Scarlet isn't as skilled as Dante but she is nevertheless formidable. She is voiced by Veronica Taylor.

Scarlet's Titans include:

  • Gybolg - Cuchulainn’s titan, of human size, made of trees and mud.

The Suits

The Suits are the lowest-level minions of the Organization. Dressed in dark suits, they are the pawns Organization operatives use to achieve their nefarious goals. The Suits' greatest asset is their sheer numbers, but they also make capable spies and are excellent at information gathering. In battle, the Suits fight with a variety of magic and Titans. Most of the Suits rarely speak; when they do, they are often voiced by Sean Schemmel and Dan Green.

Suits' Titans include

  • Redcap - human sized titan with claws.
  • Mindrone - small titan with one eye and beetle like armor that fires beams from its eye.
  • Strix - Mosquito-like titans that can take out even a strong titan when they explode. They can also cut through anything. Strix's amulet can have either 2 or 3 in it.
  • Bonelasher - a fierce titan similar to Redcap that attacks with claws.
  • Impet - a small, imp-like creature which can fire a magical beam from its mouth.
  • Jokul - a human-sized frost titan used by the Followers of Thor.
  • Enforcer - a large, three-eyed bug-like titan that fires energy beams from its eyes.
  • Sekmet - a human-sized she-panther warrior who wields twin blades.
  • Ammit Heart-eater- A crocodile Titan with great strength.
  • Nylurker- A ghostly Titan that can become invisible in the shadows.
  • Dark Pharaoh- A four-eyed bound mummy who fires energy blasts from his eyes.

DeFoe

DeFoe is a scheming, self-proclaimed mastermind. He leads the small force ordered to track down Lok’s journal and demands total obedience, even though his tactics often put his own men in serious danger.

DeFoe is willing to do anything to complete his missions, no matter how depraved and evil. He rapidly moves through the ranks of the Suits, commanding his own squad within six months of joining. DeFoe is highly efficient and has high expectations. While not greatly liked by his team, he is certainly respected and feared. He is more obsessed with beating Dante Vale than with carrying out his orders. He is not a skilled fighter and usually relies on his second-in-command, Grier, for non-Titan battling. It could also be said that DeFoe is something of a coward, as more than once, he ran away from Dante when he lost all his Titans' energy, leaving his own men behind. His magic commonly revolves around acid. As he continues to fail and defy the orginization, DeFoe loses favor and status; at times, he is even removed from duty. He is voiced by Kirk Thornton.

Defoe’s Titans include

  • Kreutalk - Defoe's main titan, a flying manta ray-like titan that fires acid.
  • Redcap - a human sized titan with sharp claws.
  • Mindrone - small titan with one eye and beetle like armor that fires lasers from its eye.
  • Gar-Ghoul - a gargoyle-like titan with control over water and the tides.

DeFoe lost all of his titans after his final battle with Dante and the others. He is later killed off screen by Grier as part of his test assigned by the Professor.

Grier

Grier serves as DeFoe’s right hand man. Rarely speaking, he seems to be an ordinary thug at first, but he carries himself with a subtle air of nobility. Grier believes that with the Organization’s domination, there will come universal order that will keep all people in line and prevent wars. Grier is a strict military man; he holds himself to a code of honor that prevents him from going back on his word or betraying others, both rare traits in the Organization. He inspires loyalty from his men and kindness to defenseless enemies.

In combat, Grier uses magic that makes him faster and much stronger than any normal human. Grier's skills in a fight are just below Dante's; however, neither is able to have a decisive victory. With him fights Breaker, a mighty, four-armed, bear-like Titan that hits hard with a combination of strength and speed. He is voiced by Richard Epcar.

Grier’s Titans include

  • Breaker - a large four armed bear that Grier prefers to use, it has a lot of strength.
  • Megataur - a titan once held by Grier's father, a Minotaur like monster.
  • Mindrone - small titan with one eye and beetle like armor that fires lasers from its eye.
  • Redcap - a human sized titan with sharp claws.

Klaus

An evil professor, Klaus was the one who found Zhalia in the woods as a child, and raised her to be a spy for the Organization. After Grier left the Organization, he was revealed and on missions to recover powerful Titans. Klaus is definitely smarter than DeFoe, and he was the hardest opponent the gang had encountered when he appeared. He is portrayed as a very creepy man who experiments on humans for fun. Klaus is a good researcher and inventor but he has no sense of history and is more than willing to destroy any artifacts that he no longer needs. Klaus leads his own team of suits. He is based out of a bookstore in Vienna that sells only dark books. He opposed the team, using Zhalia to provide information, until he met up with Dante in the castle of Vlad Dracul, where he revealed that Zhalia was a spy, but she turned on him, and he was turned to stone by King Basilisk.

Klaus' Titans include:

  • Brahim- A titan of stone similar to Metagolem.
  • Ammit Heart-eater- A crocodile Titan with great strength.
  • Nylurker- A ghostly Titan that can become invisible in the shadows.

The Professor

The ultimate dominator, Simon Judeau, better known as "The Professor," lives to control. He is capable of being sly and manipulative but rarely has to resort to such actions; normally, the absolute fear he inspires is enough. The Professor has no ethics and will do anything to expand the Organization and his power base. He is also the type who likes to manage every facet of the Organization himself and make every decision personally. If any of his underlings fail him, he will not hesitate to have them removed. Although it is clear that his goal is to conquer, it is unknown exactly why he holds this desire. The Professor's greater purpose is a mystery, but it has to do with his past with Lok's father and Metz. He and Eathon Lambert had a relationship very similar to Lok and Dante's. He, Metz, and Eathon Lambert were the best of friends. They hunted for many powerful Titans. When the three went to hunt for the ancient Titan known as Araknos, Simon rushed ahead of the others to bond with it; because he removed Araknos from its resting place without the Ancient Amulet of Will, he became ill with a curse. After his recovery, he disappeared as Simon Judeau. It is suggested that Eathon may know the Professor's true identity. The Professor is bound to the Titan Araknos, a devastatingly powerful creature capable of controlling any thinking being to the point of rebuilding someone's personality from the ground up. He is voiced by Mike Pollock, under the name Herb Lawrence.

The Professor’s Titans include:

  • Araknos - A spider-like titan capable of controlling any thinking being, the legendary titan of Mind. this titan helped the professor to cheat death for a while. He was taken back to the spirit world by Overloss in the last episode of season 1.
  • Trap Feaster - A bug-like titan that can eat traps up.
  • Dominator - A titan that can cause another titan to disobey its master by hitting it with its arms with spikes on it. As long as the spikes remain on the titan, it won't obey its master.
  • Nordrake - A dragon-like titan which can breathe ice.
  • Goblin Brownie - A goblin that can save its master from trouble
  • Overloss - (temporarily) - the legendary titan of Immortality.
  • Behemoth - (temporarily) -the legendary titan of Body.
  • Tao - (temporarily) - the legendary titan of Spirit.

The three Legendary Titans and the Professor were sealed away in the Spirit World in the final episode of the first season.

Rassimov

Rassimov is the Professor's second-in-command in the Organization, and also the leader of the Bloodspiral Order. He became directly involved in the series fairly late, after DeFoe's and Klaus's failures. He is a ruthless seeker with a hidden agenda, made more clear after he is sent to the spirit world and meets up with his family, who had been planning revenge on the Casterwill family. His origin is unspecified, though based on his intense hatred for the Casterwills, he may be one of the Nullifiers, whom Casterwill defeated. He is physically strong and possesses a command of dark spells and titans, making him a match for Dante's whole team. However, in Episode 21, Lok successfully defeats Rassimov in a moment of rage directed towards the Organization because of his father's fate. Rassimov was voiced by Maddie Blaustein.

Rassimov's Titans include:

  • Anubian - A titan summoned from four Black Scarabese titans, and completed with a fifth Gold Scarabese covering Rassimov's left eye.
  • Kopesh - A jackal mage that summons swarms of locusts to battle and sprays acidic sludge to trip his enemies.
  • Arch Warder- A plant-like titan that can make it hard to control any titan depending on how powerful it is.
  • Ammit Heart-eater- A crocodile Titan with great strength.
  • Black Scarabese- A seemingly harmless titan with the ability to move unnoticed and spy for its master.
  • Gold Scarabese- A counterpart to the Black Scarabese, this titan allows its owner to wear it as a receiver to show what the Black Scarabese see. It can bond with them to form the titan Anubian.
  • Thornment-A mummy covered in deadly brambles.
