  • Hammy the Squirrel in Over the Hedge is (normally) extremely hyperactive and fast. Upon consuming caffiene, he becomes so fast his surroundings come to a standstill, and he can outpace lasers at walking speed.

  • Characters from the anime Bleach can use a technique called shunpo, or flash steps. This allows them to move so fast that it would seem like there are teleporting from one place to another.
  • Lenalee Lee, from the series D.Gray-Man uses her Dark Boots to step onto soundwaves and travel at supersonic speeds.
  • In One Piece, the CP9 agents can all master Soru, a skill that is the equivalent of superhuman speed, by kicking off the ground at least 10 times in the blink of an eye.
  • Monkey D. Luffy of One Piece adapted his own version of Soru as the basis for his Gear 2 moves.
