List of Dr. Who Films
The following is a list of Doctor Who films and telemovies listing the actors, writers, directors, and release date, based on the fictional character Doctor Who, based on the BBC television series. The cinematic films featured a Reimagined doctor, called Dr. Who, staring Peter Cushing, while the television movie featured the Eighth Doctor based on the original Doctor Who character.
To date there have been two cinematic films and one telemovie made in addition to the television episodes.
Cushing Doctor
The Cushing Doctor is not consider canon in the Doctor Who universe, but a simple reimagination of the First Doctor, with numberous variations.

The first cinematic relased is based on a re-imagined The Daleks, the second Doctor Who serial (and the first to feature the Daleks). Filmed in Technicolor, it is the first Doctor Who story to be made in colour. The television series continued to be made in black-and-white until 1969. |

Eighth Doctor
In addition one telemovie was made, staring Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor, a pilot for the never produced new series in 1996, but this is considered canon.
