This is a list of North American car customizers. That is their full-time profession is, or was, to customize existing cars, and/or, to build up from original or reproduction parts entire cars, and/or, to restore or return to a previous state cars that were originally customized in another era. This May Be applied to those that customize (modify) light duty trucks and/or unique commercial vehicles as well as customizers known as tuners. Some individuals, although notable in the auto aftermarket or customizing community may not qualify for this list since they are not or were not professional car builders, ex. Chris Alston, Vic Edelbrock Sr., Art Morrison, or Bill Smith of Speedway Motors.
