List of Big Brother 13 housemates (UK)
The following is a list of contestants in the thirteenth series of Big Brother UK.
Adam
Adam Kelly, aged 27, was raised in Burton-upon-Trent but currently lives in Dudley. He is a reformed former member of the Los Angeles Crips gang. Adam entered the house with fifteen other housemates on Day 1. On Day 13, he was given the task of wearing giant hands for a day, and later was invited on a date with Shievonne, who had won it in a task. On Day 29, he joined the green team in the Turf Wars task, along with five other housemates. In The Good, The Bad And The Really Ugly task, Adam was placed in the Bad category with two other housemates. On Day 44, Adam was chosen by Luke A, who had won the Speed Hater task, to join him for food and entertainment. On Day 54, Adam was secretly given the task of choosing which prize would go to which housemate in the Standing On The Shoulders Of Prizes task. He ultimately won the task, winning a 50-inch TV for himself. He was nominated for eviction in Week 8 against seven other housemates but survived. He attended a party with three other housemates, which had been won by Scott for convincing the other housemates that he had been working for Big Brother. In the final shopping task, Adam and four other housemates had to fool The Two housemates playing museum guards into believing that they were resembling museum exhibits, when in fact they were allowed several treats. They failed this task. In Week 10, he again faced the public vote for a double eviction against three other housemates, but survived. He left the house as this year's runner-up, leaving the house on Day 70.
Arron
Arron Lowe is a 23-year-old model from Manchester. He modeled for clothing companies such as Abercrombie & Fitch, John Galliano and Hollister. Arron entered the house on Day 1 with fifteen other housemates. He was nominated for eviction in Week 2 against Chris, but survived. On Day 13, Conor invited Arron to join him for a takeaway with karaoke that he had won in the Ticking Time Bomb game. On Day 17, Arron put talcum powder in the hairdryers, resulting in hairdryers being banned on Day 18. To win them back, Arron had to bestow three acts of kindness on the house. Big Brother said that he did a bad job, but gave back one hairdryer anyway. On Day 29, Arron joined the green team in the Turf Wars task, along with five other housemates. On Day 31, he invaded the blue team's territory by jumping in the pool, resulting in the green team losing access to the kitchen and bathroom. In Week 5, Arron was nominated for eviction against three other housemates. He received the fewest votes to save and became the fifth housemate to be evicted.
Ashleigh
Ashleigh Hughes (born 23 June 1991) is a former wine stocks saleswoman from Romford, Essex. On Day 1, Ashleigh entered the house with fifteen other housemates. On Day 13, she won a gym session for herself and Luke S in the Ticking Time Bomb game. On Day 19, Ashleigh celebrated her 21st birthday in the house, and chose two other housemates to plan rival parties for her. She then had to choose one party to carry on, and one to close down. Later on Day 19, she discussed nominations with Shievonne, resulting in Big Brother removing hot water from the house. On Day 29, Ashleigh joined the blue team with six other housemates as part of the Turf Wars task. Luke S spent the £50 he had been awarded as Employee of the Week in the Rules Are For Fools task on pamper treatment for Ashleigh. She also discussed nominations again with two other housemates, resulting in the blue team being banned from nominating that week. In The Good, The Bad and the Really Ugly task, Ashleigh was placed in the Bad category with two other housemates. On Day 44, Ashleigh was given a formal warning after a potentially offensive impersonation of Deana. On Day 48, Ashleigh was given the task of not swearing as part of the Letter Dilemmas task. She failed, and as a result, Deana did not receive her letter from home. However, she was later set a secret task to dress as a clown and entertain the other housemates at a pool party. She passed this challenge, and won Deana's letter. She was nominated in Week 8 against seven other housemates but survived. In Week 9 she was up for eviction against three other housemates, but survived for a second time. Ashleigh was not allowed to attend Scott's party as a punishment for discussing nominations. After the Nommy Awards, Ashleigh was chosen by Luke S, along with two other housemates, to join him a meal cooked by Atul Kochhar that he had won for receiving the most awards. In the final shopping task, Ashleigh and four other housemates had to fool the two housemates playing museum guards into believing that they were resembling museum exhibits, when in fact they were allowed several treats. They failed this task. In Week 10, Ashleigh faced her third eviction against three other housemates. She became the eleventh housemate to be evicted, in a double eviction with Scott.
Becky
Rebecca "Becky" Hannon is a 19-year-old drama college student from Blackburn. She was in her first year of drama college and has previously been an extra in Shameless. Becky was chosen by the public to enter the Big Brother house on Day 4 as a wildcard housemate, and was immediately given a secret mission to become one housemate's best friend. On Day 6, housemates voted for their favourite housemate, and Deana chose Becky, winning Becky immunity from the following week's eviction. On Day 29, Becky joined the green team with five other housemates as part of the Turf Wars task. She was nominated for eviction in Week 5 against three other housemates, but survived. In The Good, The Bad and the Really Ugly task, Becky was placed in the Really Ugly category with two other housemates. On Day 43, she was given a secret task to hide tokens around the house, while Scott was given the secret mission of finding them. Scott only found one, so Becky won the task. When Becky entered the house, she was an instant favourite to win the show. However, In Week 9, she was nominated for eviction again, against three other housemates. She was evicted in a very close vote, receiving 1.1% of the public vote less than Ashleigh.
Benedict
Benedict Garret is a 32-year-old former teacher from Manchester. He used to work at Beal High School but was suspended from his last teaching job in 2010 when it was revealed that he was a stripper and had worked in [...] under the pseudonyms Johnny Anglais and Jonny Cockfill. He has an 18 year old foster son. On Day 1, he entered the house with fifteen other housemates. On Day 13, he was banned from nominating in the Ticking Time Bomb game. On Days 15 and 16, Benedict became a scientist along with two other housemates in the shopping task, experimenting on the other housemates. They passed this task. In Week 3, Benedict was nominated for eviction against Lauren, and became the third housemate to be evicted.
Caroline
Caroline Wharram is a 20-year-old former boarding school girl from Esher, Surrey. She previously worked as a street fundraiser. On Day 1, Caroline entered the house, along with fifteen other housemates. On Day 11, she was given a secret task to convince two other housemates that she was related to the Royal Family. She passed this task, and won afternoon tea for herself and the two housemates she fooled. On Day 13, Caroline had to eat a fish eye as part of the Ticking Time Bomb game. On Day 17, she discussed nominations with Conor, resulting in the hot water being removed. On Day 20, she took the role of the waitress in the Confusing Cuisine task, as she was feeling unwell. On Day 23, Caroline received a formal warning for using offensive language against Adam. On Day 29, she joined the blue team, along with six other housemates, for the Turf Wars task. She discussed nominations again with two other housemates, resulting in the blue team being banned from nominating for that week. She took the role of the Deputy in The Good, The Bad and the Really Ugly task. On Day 43, Caroline was given a second formal warning for bullying and intimidating Luke A. She also spent the entire shopping budget on chocolate, much to the annoyance of the other housemates. On Day 48, Caroline had to eat another fish eye as part of the Letter Dilemmas task. She was nominated in Week 8 against seven other housemates, and received the lowest number of votes to save out of the eight, becoming the eighth housemate to be evicted.
Chris
Chris James is a 21-year-old doorman and bailiff from Luton. On Day 1, Chris entered the house with fifteen other housemates. In Week 2, he was nominated for eviction against Arron, and received the fewest number of votes to save, becoming the second housemate to be evicted.
Conor
Conor McIntyre (born 27 July 1987) is a 25-year-old from Derry. At the age of 16, Conor won a place at the David Beckham Football Academy. On Day 1, Conor entered the house with fifteen other housemates. Shortly after, Deana chose to nominate him and two other housemates to face the public vote on Day 4. He survived this eviction. On Day 13, Conor won a takeaway with karaoke for himself and Arron in the Ticking Time Bomb game. On Day 17, he discussed nominations with Caroline, resulting in Big Brother removing the hot water. On Day 19, Conor competed against Shievonne to organise a birthday party for Ashleigh. Ashleigh chose his party as the best one. On Day 20, he was chosen by the other housemates as the winner of the Confusing Cuisine task, and he became the sole controller of the shopping budget for that week. On Day 20, Conor was given a formal warning for using violent and threatening language against Deana. On Day 29, he joined the blue team with six other housemates for the Turf Wars task. Conor was nominated for eviction again in Week 5 against three other housemates, but survived for a second time. He discussed nominations with two other housemates, resulting in the blue team being banned from nominating that week. In Week 6, Conor was nominated again to face the public vote, this time against Shievonne, and Conor survived his third eviction. He took the role of the Sheriff in The Good, The Bad, and the Really Ugly task. On Day 39, Conor discussed nominations again, resulting in him and Deana being made to do all of the other housemates' laundry. On Day 48, he had to wear a gag as part of the Letter Dilemmas task. On Day 53, Conor celebrated his 25th birthday, and was given a secret task to lie to all of the other housemates. He passed this task, and won a football-themed party. He was once again nominated for eviction in Week 8 against seven other housemates but survived for a fourth time. On Day 57, Conor entered the White Room along with two other housemates to compete for a pass to the final. On Day 60, Conor and Luke S were faced with the option of taking up to half of the £100,000 jackpot prize, but if they did they had to leave the house immediately. Both Conor and Luke S pressed the red button in The White Room for the £50,000 but Conor pressed it first, and left the Big Brother House with £50,000.
Deana
Deana Uppal (born 30 January 1988) is a 24-year-old model from Wednesbury. She was the current holder of the title Miss India UK. On Day 1, Deana entered the house along with fifteen other housemates. She was randomly selected by Big Brother to be the first housemate to enter the house, and had to nominate three of the other housemates in front of them in exchange for immunity from the public eviction. On Day 20, Deana was the only housemate who did not eat her meal in the Confusing Cuisine task, so was not eligible to win the prize. On Day 25, she discussed nominations with Scott, resulting in the table football game being removed from the house. In Week 4, Deana was nominated for eviction against Lydia, but survived. On Day 29, Deana joined the green team with five other housemates to take part in the Turf Wars task. In Week 5, she was then nominated to face the public vote again against three other housemates, but she survived again. In The Good, The Bad and the Really Ugly task, Deana was placed in the Bad category with two other housemates. On Day 39, she again discussed nominations, resulting in her and Conor having to do all of the other housemates' laundry. On Day 42, she received a formal warning after using offensive language against Adam. On Day 48, Deana was the only housemate not to receive her letter from home after Ashleigh failed her challenge in the Letter Dilemmas task. However, Ashleigh later passed a secret task to dress as a clown and entertain the other housemates during a pool party, winning Deana her letter. Deana was nominated for a third time in Week 8 against seven other housemates, but survived once again. She was again put up for eviction against three other housemates in Week 9, but survived for a fourth time. Deana was banned from attending Scott's party that he had won for convincing the other housemates that he was working for Big Brother, as a punishment for discussing nominations. For the final shopping task, she and four other housemates had to convince the two housemates playing museum guards that they were resembling museum exhibits, when in fact they were sneaking away and having treats. They failed this task. In Week 10, Deana faced her fifth (double) eviction, against three other housemates. She survived the vote once again. On the final night, Deana and Luke S won a special dinner in the garden for being the best at the media task. On Day 70, Deana left the house in 3rd place. Deana received the most nominations of the entire series (31), and survived the highest number of evictions (5). She was also the last female remaining in the house. Deana has since been voted the fourth best housemate of all time on a digital spy forum poll.
Lauren
Lauren Carre is a 20-year-old who grew up on a farm in Jersey. She is a black belt in martial arts. She auditioned for Big Brother via YouTube. On Day 1, Lauren entered the house with fifteen other housemates. On Day 11, Caroline convinced her and Sara that she was related to the Royal Family, resulting in the three being rewarded with afternoon tea. In Week 3, Lauren was nominated for eviction against Benedict, but survived. On Day 29, Lauren joined the blue team with six other housemates for the Turf Wars task. In The Good, The Bad and the Really Ugly task, Lauren was placed in the Really Ugly category. On Day 43, she discussed nominations with Sara, and was forced to wear a T-shirt saying 'I can't be trusted'. In Week 7, Lauren was nominated for her second eviction against Luke A, and became the seventh housemate to be evicted.
Luke A
Luke Anderson is a South African-born 31-year-old chef from Flintshire. He was assigned female at birth and used to be called Laura. He was one of two housemates called Luke in the house, so was referred to as Luke A to avoid confusion. On Day 1, Luke A entered the house along with fifteen other housemates. On Day 13, he won a trip to the sweet shop in the Ticking Time Bomb game. On Days 15 and 16, he became a scientist along with two other housemates as part of a shopping task, experimenting on the rest of the house. On Day 29, he joined the blue team with six other housemates as part of the Turf Wars task. In The Good, The Bad and the Really Ugly task, he was placed in the Really Ugly category. On Day 44, Luke A won the Speed Hater task when his date with Sara lasted only 17 seconds, winning a Lads' Night In for himself and Adam. In Week 7, he was nominated to face the public vote against Lauren, and survived. On Day 48, Luke A was forbidden from smoking as part of the Letter Dilemmas task. In Week 8, he again faced eviction against seven other housemates, and survived again. In Week 9, Luke A faced the public vote for the third time in succession, against three other housemates, and survived for a third time. In the final shopping task, he and four other housemates had to convince the two housemates playing museum guards that they were resembling museum exhibits, when in fact they were sneaking off to get treats. They failed this task. On Day 70, Luke A left the house as the winner of Big Brother 13.
Luke S
Luke Scrase is a 25-year-old club promoter from Stoke-on-Trent. He was one of two housemates called Luke this year, so was referred to as Luke S to avoid confusion. On Day 1, Luke S entered the house with fifteen other housemates. On Day 13, Ashleigh invited him to join her for a gym session she had won in the Ticking Time Bomb game. On Day 29, Luke S joined the green team for the Turf Wars task, with five other housemates. In the Rules Are For Fools task, he was named Employee Of The Week for handing out the most violation tickets, winning £50 which he spent on pamper treatment for Ashleigh. In The Good, The Bad and the Really Ugly task, Luke S was placed in the Good category. He was nominated for eviction in Week 8 against seven other housemates, but survived. On Day 57, Luke S entered the White Room with two other housemates to compete for a pass to the final. On Day 60, Luke S and Conor were given the option to steal up to half of the winner's prize money, but would have to leave the house immediately if they did so. Conor and Luke S both pressed the button to accept the offer, but Conor pressed it first, leaving with £50,000 and winning Luke S a pass to the final. He was not allowed to attend the party that Scott won, as a punishment for discussing nominations. He also received the most awards at the Nommy Awards, winning a meal cooked by Atul Kochhar for himself and three other housemates. For the final shopping task, he and four other housemates had to convince the two housemates playing museum guards that they were resembling museum exhibits, when in fact they were receiving treats when the guards were not there. They failed this task. On the final night, Luke S and Deana won a special dinner in the garden for being the best at the media task. He left the house in 5th place on Day 70, and was the first to leave the house on the final night.
Lydia
Lydia Louisa (born 21 June 1986 ) is a 26-year-old professional dancer from Cheshire. She had danced with celebrities such as Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, Kanye West and has appeared, as an extra, on the film Mamma Mia!. She was also a contestant on series 1 of Dirty Dancing: The Time of Your Life. Lydia is currently engaged to reality television star Andy Scott-Lee. On Day 1, Lydia entered the house, along with fifteen other housemates. Shortly after, Deana chose to nominate her and two other housemates to face the public vote on Day 4. Lydia survived the vote. On Day 12, Lydia hosted a dance-off that saw housemates competing against each other in a series of head-to-head dance battles. Lydia and her chosen winners were rewarded with a special party. On Days 15 and 16, Lydia and two other housemates became scientists as part of a shopping task, experimenting on the rest of the house. They passed this task. On Day 16, it was Lydia's birthday, and she was set a secret task to deliver a very long and arrogant birthday speech to the other housemates. She passed this task, and received a phone call from her fiancé as a reward. In Week 4, Lydia was nominated to face the public vote against Deana. She received fewer votes, and became the fourth housemate to be evicted.
Sara
Sara McLean is a 22-year-old model from Edinburgh. She won Miss Edinburgh in 2010 and finished second in Miss Scotland 2011. On Day 1, Sara entered the Big Brother house with fifteen other housemates. On Day 11, she and Lauren were convinced by Caroline that she was related to the Royal Family. As a result, the three of them were given afternoon tea. On Day 13, Sara was forced to clean the house as a result of the Ticking Time Bomb game. On Day 29, she joined the blue team, with six other housemates, in the Turf Wars task. In The Good, The Bad and the Really Ugly task, Sara was placed in the Good category. On Day 44, she became the subject of the Speed Dater task, which involved all the other male housemates going on dates with her, which she could end at any time. She believed that the winner was the housemate whose date lasted longest, but in fact, the task was Speed Hater, and the winner was the housemate whose date was the shortest. On Day 43, Sara discussed nominations with Lauren, and was forced to wear a T-shirt that said 'I discuss nominations' as a punishment. On Day 48, she was given the task of dressing as the Queen as part of the Letter Dilemmas task. Sara was nominated for eviction in Week 8 against seven other housemates but survived. On Day 57, Sara entered the White Room with two other housemates to compete for a pass to the final. On Day 58, she decided to leave the White Room, forfeiting her chance of a guaranteed place in the final. Luke S chose Sara and two other housemates to join him for a meal cooked by Atul Kochhar, which he had won for receiving the most awards at the Nommy Awards. In the final shopping task, Sara and Scott played museum guards, and were led to believe that the other housemates were resembling museum exhibits. However, they realised that they were actually sneaking off and getting treats, resulting in the house failing the task. Sara survived to the final, being up for the public vote only once during her stay, and left the house in 4th place on Day 70.
Scott
Scott Mason is a 21-year-old history student from Macclesfield, who was studying at the University of Exeter. On Day 1, Scott entered the house with fifteen other housemates. On Day 9, he was informed that a family member had died, resulting in him leaving the house for a few hours; however, he returned later. On Day 25, Scott discussed nominations with Deana, resulting in the table football game being removed from the house. On Day 29, he joined the green team with five other housemates for the Turf Wars task. In The Good, The Bad and the Really Ugly task, Scott was placed in the Good category. On Day 43, Scott was given a secret task to collect tokens that were being hidden by Becky in the house. He only found one, and failed the task. On Day 44, Scott was given an official warning by Big Brother for using language that could be viewed as stereotyping towards Deana. On Day 48, Scott was instructed to talk in his native Macclesfield accent as part of the Letter Dilemmas task. On Day 58, Scott was given a second warning by Big Brother, again for mocking and stereotyping Deana's Indian culture. Scott was set a secret task by Big Brother to convince housemates that he had been secretly working for Big Brother for the whole series. Housemates were fooled, and Scott won a party for the house (although three housemates were banned from attending as a punishment for discussing nominations.) Luke S invited Scott and two other housemates to join him for a meal cooked by Atul Kochhar, which he had won as a reward for receiving the most awards at the Nommy Awards. In the final shopping task, Scott and Sara took on the roles of museum security guards, and were led to believe that the other housemates were resembling museum exhibits. However, they realised that they were actually receiving treats when the two of them weren't there, failing the task for the house. In Week 10, Scott was nominated to face the public vote in a double eviction against three other housemates. He became the tenth housemate to leave the house, along with Ashleigh who became the eleventh. Out of all of the housemates, Scott was the last to face the public vote; he was never up for eviction until Week 10, when he was evicted.
Shievonne
Shievonne Robinson (born 7 July 1983) is an assistant manager from Lewisham. In 2011, she worked at the Playboy Casino in Mayfair as a hostess. On Day 1, Shievonne entered the Big Brother house, along with fifteen other housemates. On Day 2, she was set a task to do impressions of all of the other housemates. The other housemates all guessed correctly which impression was which, winning a party for the house. On Day 13, Shievonne won a date with Adam in the Ticking Time Bomb game. On Day 19, she competed against Conor to organise a birthday party for Ashleigh. Ashleigh decided that Conor's was better, and closed Shievonne's party down early. Later on Day 19, she discussed nominations with Ashleigh, resulting in Big Brother turning off the hot water. On Day 29, she joined the blue team with six other housemates in the Turf Wars task. In Week 6, she was nominated for eviction against Conor, and became the sixth housemate to be evicted.
Victoria
Victoria Eisermann is a 41-year-old former glamour model from Reading. She was a plus-size model and animal rights campaigner. On Day 1, Victoria entered the house with fifteen other housemates. Shortly afterwards, Deana chose to nominate her and two other housemates to face the public vote that week. She received the fewest votes and on Day 4 became the first housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house.
