List of best-charting modern U.S. music artists This list of best-charting modern music artists in the United States includes acts from anywhere in the world who have charted at least five singles on the Billboard U.S. Hot 100 from the mid- to late 1990s and continue through the 2000s. All artists that began charting after 2000 belong on this list. (Artists that began charting in the 1950s, during the beginning of the rock and roll era, and through the early 1990s, are listed separately in the original :List of best-charting U.S. music artists page.

In addition to the U.S. Hot 100, the table includes (in the U.S. only):

• Top 40 hits
• Top 10 hits
• Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks ("AC")
• Hot Adult Top 40 Tracks
• Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks

For records outside the U.S., the table includes:

• Australia singles
