Linus Mundy
Linus T. Mundy (born September 11, 1947) is a Roman Catholic author and publisher at Abbey Press in St. Meinrad, Indiana.
He has written numerous self-help books, including: A Complete Guide to Prayer-Walking, A Man's Guide to Prayer, and Slow-Down Therapy.
He is also the pioneer of the self-help series Care Notes, which are free and simple pamphlets that can be found in gift shops, churches, and counseling clinics. Their subjects include dealing with grief, disease, abuse, and general issues of faith.
Raised in Celestine, Indiana, Mundy began life in a farmhouse. In his teenage years, he attended school in St. Meinrad, and was at one point intent on becoming a priest through the seminary there. However, he changed his mind, and decided to become a writer.
His educational career instead took him to Indiana State University in Terre Haute, where he received his degree in English and met his future wife, Michaelene Mundy.
