History
First called "Postal" and then "University," Lindsey Pool first formed in 1997 as a high school garage band. After playing covers at local events-- particularly Zuka Juice --the band began composing their own album, which formed into "Better Times." They fully devoted their time to composing a completely original CD, however, in 1999 when their title CD, "Postal" came out. Postal was an immediate success locally, and their hit song, "Angel Pumping Gas," remains a favorite to this day.
Their next CD, "Music for Sight" was released in 2000. Featuring six songs, Lindsey Pool already were adapting a personal style similar to Weezer, Foo Fighters, Ben Folds Five and Jimmy Eat World.
After a short hiatus as the band members finished serving two year missions, Lindsey Pool regrouped to compose "Rush a Little Faster." Their maturation becomes most evident, however, in their newest album, "All My Stories." The band members now all married and some with children, the sound has not diminished, though the content has morphed into the reflective, poignant rock that we all need once in a while.
