Linda Kennedy
Linda Kennedy is a Belfast born writer and photographer now living and working on the south coast of England.
Inspired by her parents and grandparents she is a third generation wildlife conservationist, regularly undertaking conservation work across the South Downs in Sussex.
A childhood spent mainly watching aircraft flying in and out of Belfast International Airport has resulted in a passion for aviation photography. This has led to several aerial commissions and a five year relationship with the Royal Air Forces Association photographing their charity airshow held annually at Shoreham Airport in Sussex. These experiences have now resulted in Linda holding the title of top female aviation photographer in the UK.
In addition Linda writes humorous fiction and non-fiction. She admits to being unable to write anything serious due to far too many hours spent watching Monty Python and Spike Milligan. These programmes and several readings of the Goon Show scripts have left her mentally scarred for life. Following in Spike Milligan's footsteps she is currently compiling a photo book on the eccentricities of Sussex. Her work has appeared in several UK publications including Aeroplane Magazine, Cat World Magazine, Sussex Life
