History

The combined-arms artillery brigade carries on the tradition of the Artillery Brigade, formed in Loznica on 17 March 1945, as part of the Yugoslav National Liberation Army 22nd Assault Division comprising four divisions and a HQ battery. As of 1988 it was called 203rd combined-arms brigade. It was based in Nis since it was formed, and in 1996, it was relocated to Aleksinac, where it is still based.
