Leoair
Leoair is an aviation school located in Nelspruit, South Africa.
History
The school was started in 1989 by Leon van Kryenberg and was registered as a close corporation.
Leon was soon joined by Danie Terblanche, an ex-airforce senior Major who bought 50% of the shares in the company. Later in 1997 when Leon was tragically killed in a motorcar accident, Danie became the sole member of the company.
Later in June 2005 Danie sold the school to Clayton Williams who had been employed in 2003 to give instruction at the school and later became the Chief executive officer. Clayton transferred the assets of the school into a private company that today is the holding company for the school. In 2009 the school was moved from the Nelspruit airfield where it originated to a private game farm owned by Eugene Cussons Senior and is now co-located with the world renowed Jane Goodall Institute Chimpanzee eden.
