Leo Ebersole
Leo Ebersole is a Chicago journalist who writes for the Chicago Tribune-owned RedEye, a newspaper published 5 times a week and generated towards 18 to 39-year-olds. Mr. Ebersole's Nine Lines appears in every RedEye EDition except when he is off from work. His column is humorous and makes light of and pokes fun at non-serious news, mostly celebrity gossip.
Leo graduated from the Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism in 2002. Leo grew up in Vienna, Virginia, where he was the class homecoming king and valedictorian. He makes a mean turkey sub, which includes extra mayo. Then he eats it.
Leo has developed a reputation as quite the ladies' man, as evidenced by his nickname: "Leo, quite the ladies' man".
His close friend, Alex "Big Bear" Lisak is pretty much the best Diplomacy player of all time. Anand Shah is good at war board games as well.
After spending 5 years under the tutelage of Arnaldo "The General" Rivera, Leo has taken life by the horns. He lives by The General's two mottos: "If you ain't angry, you ain't living" and "Do the [...] thing". While neither of them make any sense, Leo has adhered to them religiously. "Do the [...] thing", indeed.
