Legends Tour (darts)
The Legends Tour is a series of darts tournaments featuring some of the legends of the game of darts scheduled to start in May 2008. The tournaments will be broadcast on Setanta Sports in the United Kingdom - the first time that the station has covered darts on television.
There will be eight players featured in the events, including three former World Champions - Eric Bristow, John Lowe and Keith Deller. Bobby George, Cliff Lazarenko, Dave Whitcombe, Peter Evison and one other unconfirmed player will make up the field.
The first night and grand final of the event will be staged at the Circus Tavern in Purfleet, Essex - the venue is also of legendary status in darts as the iconic venue of the PDC World Darts Championship between 1994 and 2007.
