Laurent minguet
Born in Liège the 20th July 1959, Laurent Minguet is a famous business man. He is the son of Phillipe Minguet who was a philosopher and a teacher at the University of Liège. Laurent Minguet is married and has two children.
Education
After studies of latin-mathematics in Liège and then, a bachelor's degree in eenginering, he graduated in 1982 at the University of Liège with a degree in civil engineer.
After his studies, he has worked in Casablanca (Maroc) as teacher of mathematics before joining the "oilfield" departement of Petrofina in 1984. This new job has led him to follow a training in the French Institute of Oil (Institut Français du Pétrole).
In 1985, he decided to leave Petrofina and began to work in small businesses of the broadcast industry as a responsible for development.
EVS
End 2004, Laurent Minguet launched XDC, as a new entity of EVS Group. The purpose of the company is to digitize the theaters in Europe and to provide copies and services to the distributors of digital films.
The company is now the European leader in digital cinema. XDC has offices in Belgium, Germany, France and Spain. XDC is the Official Partner of Cannes Film Festival and Locarno Film Festival.

The company is now the european leader for exhibitors and distributors in digital cinema. XDC has offices in Liege, Berlin, Madrid, Paris and Stockholm and is the Official Partner of Cannes Festival and Locarno Film Festival.
