Lauren Helm

Lauren Helm (born 1964 in New York) was a supermodel in the 1980s - Starting in the Fall of 1982 through the late 1980s she appeared regulary on the covers and pages of American Vogue, Glamour, Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan. She also appeared in many ads for major companies such as Jones New York, Coty Cosmetics, Pantene "Don't Hate Me Because I'm Beautiful" shampoo ads, and in the late 1980s appeared in Revlon's "Most Unforgetable Women of the World" cosmetic campaigns.

Lauren Helm began modeling in 1982 after graduating the Spence School in New York City. She was immediately successful and first appeared in magazines during the Fall of 1982. She first appeared in Vogue in November 1982. Her most important covers were the January, March and May covers of American Vogue in 1983.

After a decade of modeling Lauren Helm went to college at Columbia University and graduated for its College of Physicians and Surgeons on May 20th, 2003.
