Last Flight of the Cosmonaut

Last Flight of the Cosmonaut is a feature length science fiction film set in Soviet Russia, that was shot in Corvallis, Oregon. The entire film was shot using DSLR cameras. It is currently in editing or Post-Production.

Plot

The film is split into two parts by a large time gap. Although, there are many different themes, characters and plot-points, the film is described by the director as "a story AbOUT friendship".

Part 1

The first part of the film is about Misha and Boris, two friends childhood friends, who both train to be some of the first Cosmonauts. This opportunity comes for both Misha and Boris. For one of them, the opportunity comes with devastating consequences.

Part 2

The second part of the film is about Misha's son, Yuri and his friend Sasha as they desperately try any way to change the events of the past. The Two of them will go to any means to accomplish this goal. Even by seeking the help of a madman.

Production

The entire film was shot on Canon T3i DSLR cameras. Production of the film took place during the summer of 2013, primarily on location in Corvallis and Alsea, Oregon. The film also was shot in studio against a green screen and on indoor sets.

Release

The film will be released in 2014 on Video-On-Demand, Netflix, Amazon, Redbox, DVD and Blu-Ray.
