Larry Warren (Rendlesham)

For the Executive Director of UMHHC see Larry Warren

Larry Warren (Lawrence P. Warren or Lawrence Patrick Warren, Larry Patrick Warren or Larry P. Warren), who used the pseudonym Art Wallace, was a member of the US Air Force Security Police stationed at an American base on British soil. He is most famously known for his involvement in the Rendlesham Forest Incident and has published a book on this event co-authored with Peter Robbins.

He claims that was taken from his guard post to investigate strange lights in a forest clearing near the base. Here he and other enlisted men and officers apparently confronted an alien craft on the ground. in addition, the base deputy commander has come forward to verify some of the details in this case; this has led to its being called "the British Roswell" - one of the most talked about UFO cases of recent times.

He lives in Liverpool, England. 1

In December 2005, the updated and expanded version of 'Left At East Gate' was released, published by Cosimo-On-Demand.2

Controversy

Although UFOlogist Nick Pope, among several others, highly recommends Warren's book 3 4 5 "Left At East Gate", (as he does the book by his close friend Georgina Bruni, "You Can't Tell the People"), Warren has been the subject of serious controversy regarding his attack on Bruni where he publicly accused Bruni's book of having "over 400 mistakes." and publicly asks her to respond to his questions. 6. Although Bruni answered all of his questions7. There is no record of Larry Warren responding to her answers. Both books are highly regarded by some.

Some military personnel involved in the incident have gone on record saying that they refuse to believe that Larry Warren was involved in it at all. For reference, see the two documentaries below. Also, Larry Warren himself admits that he keeps changing his story.
