Land Use Consultants

Land Use Consultants (LUC) was founded in 1966 by Max Nicholson, former head of The Nature Conservancy. An independent environmental consultancy, LUC has offices in London, Glasgow, Bristol and Edinburgh.

LUC's landscape architects designed many high-profile projects, such as The Eden Project in Cornwall and the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Playground in London's Kensington Gardens.

As well as landscape design, LUC provides advice on landscape planning, ecology, digital and spatial design, environmental planning, assessment and appraisal, and urban regeneration.
