LANA TV

LANA TV ("For us" or "Ours") is a private commercial television station operating in Iraq. LANA TV is a new Iraqi general entertainment, free-to-air, satellite TV channel based in Baghdad that brings world-class programs to millions of Iraqi families and youth inside and outside of Iraq. This new channel is managed by a team of Iraqis in LANA TV’s headquarters in Baghdad, Iraq and deliver programs from all around the world, of different genres including drama, romance, action, thriller and comedy, as well as locally produced content. LANA TV, with the tagline “Nothing like it,” offers all of its international content dubbed exclusively in the local Iraqi dialect - a first and “nothing like it” in Iraq. Dubbing of series in Iraqi dubbing has never been tried in the country, LANA TV is the first channel providing four hours of fresh content, all dubbed in Iraqi dialect.

One of LANA TV's programs is “Karadag Family,” a hit Turkish series, is a family drama set in the fictional village of Payidar. It tells the story of the cycle of love, conflict and revenge among family members and tensions between Payiar’s rich landowners and poor villagers. “Golden Hearts,” a Croatian romance drama originally produced by Nova TV, tells the story of the love of a young couple that defied the violent conflict between Yugoslavia and Croatia. These are just two of the shows that LANA TV is delivering to viewers.

Moreover, LANA TV’s connection with the audience will not be limited to on-air broadcasting.
