Lakshmi Narain College of Technology
Lakshmi Narain College of Technology, Bhopal (or LNCT), is a private engineering and management institute located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. Established in 1994 by the H.K. Kalchuri Educational Trust, the college offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in engineering, management, pharmacy, and computer applications. It is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
History
Lakshmi Narain College of Technology (LNCT) was established in 1994 as a private engineering institute in Bhopal by the H.K. Kalchuri Educational Trust. According to its official website, LNCT states that its objective is to provide education aimed at developing skilled professionals.
LNCT is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) for its engineering programs, and with Barkatullah University (BU) for management and pharmacy. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
In addition to LNCT, Lakshmi Narain College of Technology & Science (LNCTS) was founded in 2006, and Lakshmi Narain College of Technology Excellence (LNCTE) was established in 2007.
LNCT partnered with the Elite Football League of India to participate in the EFLI University League.
In 2013, the LNCT was awarded the Best Institute of Bhopal by the Communication, Multimedia and Infrastructure Association of India (CMAI) at the National Madhya Pradesh Education Awards.
LNCT hosted the Indian Language Conference in 2015, an event attended by the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
In 2017, the college received its NBA accreditation.

In 2018, LNCT was ranked 74th among engineering colleges in India by Outlook India.
In 2021, LNCT was ranked 184th in the Engineering category by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).
Academics and admission
LNCT offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs in disciplines such as engineering, management, computer applications, and pharmacy. Admission to the undergraduate programs is based on the Joint Entrance Examination (Main), followed by counseling conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh. For postgraduate programs, admission to MTech courses is through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Admission to other courses is conducted through a state-level entrance exam.
