Lake Lebak Wangi

Lake Lebak Wangi (; Indonesian: Danau Lebak Wangi) is a lake located in Lebak Wangi, Pamegarsari Village, Parung District, Bogor Regency, West Java, Indonesia. There is a small unnamed island in the middle of Lake Lebak Wangi.

The lake was inaugurated on 7 October 2021, as a tourist destination. The inauguration was carried out by a number of officials, including the Regent of Bogor Ade Yasin, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, Deputy Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration Budi Arie Setiadi, and member of Commission VII of the Indonesian House of Representatives Adian Napitupulu.

History

Lake Lebak Wangi, known by its old name Lake Djati (), has been around for a long time, and was even recorded in 1902 and included as an asset of the local government for water areas (provinces) and the central government for equivalent areas (BBWSCC).

Management

Lake Lebak Wangi is managed by the local residents, specifically through collaboration between Pamegarsari Village Government and Pamegarsari Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDES Pamegarsari).
