Kyle Hill is an American science communicator and YouTuber who is the host of Because Science.

Hill graduated from Marquette University.
Career
Hill is a science editor for Nerdist, on whose YouTube channel he hosts Muskwatch.
Writing for Scientific American, Kyle Hill praised the 2013 game The last of us for its plausibility, basing its zombification process on a fictional strain of the parasitic Cordyceps fungus, a real-world genus whose members control the behavior of their arthropod hosts in "zombielike" ways to reproduce.
In September 2016, it was announced that Hill would host the television series MythBusters: The Search.

Kyle Hill hosted Because Science, an educational series produced by Nerdist Industries that features explanations of the science and physics behind fantasy figures.
Personal life
In 2021, Hill publicly revealed that he was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome.
