Kyle Davisson
Kyle Roger Davisson (November 2, 1985-) is an American Football wide receiver for the University of Clemson Tigers. His father Jay Davisson played for the Philadelphia Phillies in the early 1980's.
Football career
High school career
Davisson attended Milton High School in Alpharetta, Georgia (2001-2004), where he saw much success on and off the field. Davisson obtained varsity letters in football, basketball and football on the Georgia class 5-A level. Most notably, he led his team to impressive victories over Woodstock High School, Murray County High School, and Northview High School.
College career
After much speculation as to where Davisson would decide to play, he announced on National Signing Day of 2004 that he would be accepting a full athletic scholarship to Clemson University to play for coach Tommy Bowden. Davisson saw limited action his freshman year, but in the 2005-2006 season played in 8 games. Davisson recorded 29 receptions for 145 yards. For the 2007-2008 season he is expected to be one of the Tigers' offensive weapons. Davisson was additionally noted as a Heisman Trophy prospect for the future in the Clemson newspaper The Tiger Town Observer.
