Kubichek! are an English post rock band from Newcastle, formed by four members of North East band Parklandsway after they split in 2003. They performed a one off show at the Sage, Newcastle to help raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Organisation.

Career

Kubichek! are currently signed to 30:30 Recordings but have previously released two singles - "Taxi" and their debut "Nightjoy" on Fantastic Plastic Records, a split single "Opening Shot" on Kitchenware Records as well as having their music featured on several compilation CDs.

They have released four singles from their debut album "Not Enought Night", Outwards, Nightjoy, Stutter (a vinyl release limited to 500 copies) and Method Acting..

On 23rd October 2007, Kubichek! announced on their Myspace that Alan McDonald had left the band. McDonald will continue to make music and upload it on his Myspace page, Here Yee, on which he states he is not likely to ever perform live again. The band have added Graham Thompson to the line-up in his place and will continue work on their second album, due for release in spring 2008.
