Škrebin Kamen
Škrebin Kamen (Serbian Cyrillic: Шкребин Камен; literally Škreba’s Rock) is a hill near Teslić in Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The name actually refers mainly to the north-west face of the hill. The small plane on the top of the hill is Prosište. The remainder of the hill massive has no special name.
After the annexation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, former Austrian-Hungarian empire built a vast railway network, mainly intended for transport od wood which the area was aboundant in. In the region of Vrela village the hill’s steep slope extended all the way to the banks of the Usora river. Being barrier for the railway line to come, the slope of the hill was removed by means of mines, leaving the north-west face of the hill in bare rock. The name also sometimes refers to both railway stations (up to 1968) and both bus stops (after 1968) to the east and south-west from the hill. Sometimes it refers to the village also.
The Usora river level just by the hill is at 190 m altitude. The top of the Prosište plane is at 270 m altitude.
