KRAIBURG TPE is an international company and global manufacturer of thermoplastic elastomers with its plants in Germany, Malaysia and USA.
History
KRAIBURG TPE was founded in 1985 as a unit of industrial firm KRAIBURG group. It Started operations in 1947 as Gummiwerke KRAIBURG GmbH & Co. manufacturing rubber compounds as its core business. In 1985 the company began its first trial with TPE following which, KRAIBURG TPE was established. The company is ISO 50001 certified at its headquarters in Waldkraiburg, Germany as well as in Malaysia and held ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications at all its global production sites. Kraiburg TPE has a staff force of 550 worldwide and recorded sales of 167 million euros in 2016.

- 2016 Opened new plant KRAIBURG TPE CORPORATION and relocated to Buford (GA), USA
- 2015 Established KRAIBURG TPE Mexico S. de R.L.de D.V. in Monterrey.
- 2015 Received the prestigious Frost & Sullivan Award for High Customer Orientation.

- 2001 Established KRAIBURG TPE GmbH as legally independent company and start of new plant.

Products
- COPEC combines haptic, adhesion to ETP and resistance against skin oil.
- For Tec E is a special series for Polyamide adhesion. For Tec E provides bonding to semi aromatic Polyamides, Polyacrylamide and all standard Polyamides.
- HIPEX is a TPV with resistance against oil and heat up to 150 °C.
- THERMOLAST has product groups, which are differentiated by their chemical basis Hydrogenated Styrenic Block Copolymers (SEBS) in accordance with the requirements of different markets.
