Kolkata Baabu Moshayes
Kolkata Baabu Moshayes, also known as KBM, is a box cricket team representing Kolkata in Sony Entertainment Television’s new sport reality TV show, Box Cricket League. The team is owned by Nivedita Basu (creative director at Balaji Telefilms) and executed by Rakesh Ravikant Tak (Chief Executive Officer) from the House Of Originals. The series is conceptualized by Marinating Films CEO's Sunny Arora and Anand Mishra and produced and marketed by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms. The series, Box Cricket League, will have 150 TV celebrities in a game of box cricket, competing for the winning cup. The makers contemplated strengthening the show format and produce it on a larger scale with photo-shoots, team anthems and press conferences planned to launch the new Box Cricket League for the upcoming season in 2014. The show is slated to air between 1 and 25 December 2014.
Kolkata Baabu Moshayes, key brand ambassadors are Tusshar Kapoor, Shweta Tiwari, Divyanka Tripathi.Karan Kundra and Sudeepa Singh who represent the team on various mass media and press interactions. The team has a dynamic mix of TV and film actors, RJs, VJs and stand-up comedians. The official theme of the team is, 'We Play to Win', and the official jersey colour is bright red.
