KMP College of engineering

The KMP College of Engineering (KMPCE), Cherukunnam, Asamannoor P.O, Perumbavoor is an engineering and technology school in Ernakulam, Kerala in south India. It is recognized as an Institute of National Importance, a self-financed college founded in 2011 under the Indira Gandhi Group of Institutions to provide education and research facilities in engineering and technology.it is a residential institute that occupies 20 acres of campus in the side of a hill station Poomala at Cherukunnam, 12 km from Perumbavoor.

Campus

The main entrance of the KMPCE is on Poomala road. The campus is close to the Sabarimala railway line, which is the upcoming railway passage to Sabarimala.KMPCE is one among the finest engineering colleges with quality infrastructure.The campus is located 6 km from the main bus station Kothamangalam and 25 km away from the Alwaye Railway station and is well connected by buses. The campus is covered by greenery of gardens and plantations.

The KMP College of engineering is an autonomous statutory organisation functioning within the Education Act by the Government of India. The KMPCE is administrated by Indira Gandhi Memorial Trust. The chairman of the college is Mr. K.M. Pareeth.
