Kinetic Securities is an Australian financial services firm that facilitates the trading of shares, equities, derivatives and FX on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) & international markets.

Headquartered at 23-25 O'Connell Street in the financial district of Sydney, the firm has developed strong relationships with many leading financial institutions in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region.

History

Founded in 2006 by Paul Cheyney and Angus Knight, it was initially established as a boutique advisory firm.

Kinetic Securities has subsequently grown through the addition of experienced analysts and brokers to provide advice across all major asset classes and developed strong relationships with many leading financial institutions in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region.

Partnerships

In 2009, Kinetic Securities teamed up with leading accounting and audit firm Searle & Charlton, to offer a Self Managed Superannuation administration service.

The service is accessible online and allows advisers, accountants and trustees to have an up-to-date investment position of an SMSF on a daily basis. Outside of direct shares, other SMSF holdings, such as properties and managed fund investments, can also be incorporated.

In addition to providing up-to-date portfolio information, the service also has the ability to generate compliance reports for maintaining an SMSF, including those reflecting asset allocations, full tax reporting and payment systems.
