Kid Speedy
Kid Speedy is an Adobe Flash game published by the fictional company Videlectrix. It centers around a racer named Kid Speedy who tries to come in not last place in eight races in order to buy an operation for the orphanage. Kid Speedy was released on July 10, 2006, and updated to "version 1.NEW!" on July 17 2006.
Gameplay
The player controls the titular character across eight levels. Although he is unable to win on his own, Kid Speedy can gain speed by picking up one of four power-ups: broccoli, carrots, smiley FACES, and tomatoes. If Kid Speedy runs into any hazards, however, he will lose all the speed he had gained. The hazards include hot dogs, junk food, and curse words.
Kid Speedy is controlled by the up and down arrow keys. As the difficulty of levels increases, players need to use quick maneuvering and strategy to gain the most benefits while avoiding the hazards. Although the game claims to have two separate modes -- 1 Player and Online Play -- Online Play simply adds names to the opponents in 1 Player. When all eight levels are beaten, a secret character is unlocked. If all eight levels are beaten with that secret character, then another secret character is unlocked. When all eight levels are beaten with the second secret character, a third (and final) secret character is unlocked.
