Khatm-e-Nabuwat Chowk (also Khatam-e-Nabuwat Chowk) (later Tehsil Chowk) () is a famous square and landmark in Chiniot. It is also an intersection between roads connecting main cities of Pakistan.

Origin

Khatm-e-Nabuwat is the Urdu language word, its meaning in English is End of Prophethood or seal of Prophethood. It is an Islamic belief unique to Prophet Muhammad.

According to Quran

Khatm-e-Nabuwat is derived from Quranic phrase AbOUT seal of Phrophethood.

"Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah, and the seal of the Prophets and God has full knowledge of all things."

According to Hadith

Muhammad affirmed:

"The chain of Messengers and Prophets has come to an end. There shall be no Messenger nor Prophet after me."

"So I came and in me the line of Prophets has ended."

Muhammad said:

"No Prophet will come after me and there will, therefore, be no other community of followers of any new prophet."

Muhammad observed:

"I am the last in line of the prophets of God and my Masjid is the last Masjid (referring the holy Masjid of the Prophet)."
