Khalistan Armed Force

The Khalistan Armed Force or also known as Dashmesh Regiment (not to confuse with General Shabeg Singh's Dashmesh Regiment) was an Khalistan Millitant Ourfit.

Forming

In order to take the Khalistan movement to the next level SEETAL Singh Matewal formed a new group. This group consisted of highly motivated young Sikh men and women who had sworn to aright the wrongs done to the Sikh nation with their lives. As this new group took birth it was initially called the Khalistan Armed Force but later on the group took on a new name as it began to be known across Punjab as the Dashmesh Regiment.

Encounter

This group has had many encounters with BSF and police, but one that really stand out is an encounter of 5 Sikh men of KAF under Seetal Singh Matewal fought against 12,000 men of BSF in 1991. All 5 were killed in a encounter which lasted more than 1 day. Hundreds of BSF soldiers were killed.
