Khalid Abdulrahman (football executive)

Khalid Abdulrahman is an entrepreneur and football executive. He is the Founder and Chairman of Sportnaa Football Agency, established in 2022. The agency subsequently expanded into Qatar through the Qatar Financial Centre, making Sportnaa the only dual-jurisdiction sports agencies operating across both countries.

Education

He is also completed studies at the University of Florence, Italy, in a programme in Sustainable Business for Societal challenges.

Biography

In January 2026, Sportnaa acquired Leabaib SC, a football club competing in the Qatar Football League. Khalid serves as the club’s Vice President and principal owner through Sportnaa. Under his leadership, Leabaib SC completed the 2025/2026 Qatar Third Division season unbeaten, the first time in the club’s history, and is currently competing in the Amateur Cup with promotion to the Second Division as the primary sporting objective.

Khalid founded the Player’naa Award, an annual recognition programme for the best youth players across age categories in the Kingdom of Bahrain, reflecting his focus on developing football talent at the grassroots level.

His earlier career includes serving as Chief Executive Officer at Doorizer between 2021 and 2022, and Chief Operating Officer at Sport Talent, a sports technology platform, in 2022.

Khalid holds a Diploma in Education, Marketing, and Sports Sponsorship, awarded in 2023 by the University of Barcelona, Spain.
