Kevin Navayne

Kevin Navayne Brown (born August 20, 1977) is an Jamaican born American actor and former male fashion model. He acts under the name of Kevin Navayne ().

Navayne was born in Spanish Town, Jamaica. The middle child of 3 and the son of a Jamaican police officer, Winston Brown and a second grade math teacher, Phyllis Brown. He and his family moved to the states when he was 5 years old to the blue collar town of East Hartford, Connecticut. He attended East Hartford High School in East Hartford, Connecticut. He graduated from Glastonbury High School in Glastonbury, CT, due to being accepted into a gifted history program in which Glastonbury offered.

In 2000 Navayne appeared in the film Disappearing Acts as an extra. He was then discovered by a modeling agent and started modeling for designers Ralph Lauren, Izod, Nautica, Sean John, Avirex and Roberto Cavalli. He currently is represented by Ford Models and Group Model Management in Spain.

In 2008 he appeared in the films Days of Wrath, and modeled for the BET show Rip The Runway.

In 2009 Navayne appeared in the film Notorious. He also guest starred in an episode of 100 Questions, and Army Wives.

In 2010 he will be starring in a recurring role as Detective Ray Jackson on CSI: NY. He will also be starring in the film, Time Share featuring Will Smith, and Nicolas Cage, and will begin filming the bio-pic AbOUT the son of the former Liberian President Charles Taylor in which he will play Charles McArther Emmanuel, in a film called American Warlord. As well as the up coming film Luke Cage as Diamondback also known as Willis Stryker.
