Kevin M. Weeks an Afro-American author, wrote a collection of novels titled The Street Life Series, which can be considered as [...] mysterys as well as Urban fiction or Hip hop fiction. Weeks is a 2007 New York Book Festival Award winner and received a 2007 Hollywood Book Festival Honorable Mention. Background

Weeks was born in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the late 1960s. Even though he spent most of his youth in and out of detention centers, he received his GED as a young adult and a diploma in evangelism from the Berean Bible Institute. He is prominent in literacy and continuing education circles.

Weeks is currently a full-time author and resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
