Kevin Collier

Kevin Antaeus Collier was born on July 19, 1986 in Rochester, New York, and is a freshman running back for the Pittsburgh Panthers.

High school

Collier attended Churchville-Chili High School in Churchville, New York. He scored a touchdown on both his first varsity carry as a freshman, and last carry as a senior. In his last two seasons, he rushed for 3,666 yards and 36 touchdowns on 471 attempts, a 7.7 yard average.

As a sophomore in 2003, Collier picked up 800 yards.

In his junior year, Collier rushed 221 times for 1,724 yards and 20 touchdowns and was named Section V offensive player of the year.

In his last high school year as a senior, Collier ran 250 times for 1,942 yards and 16 touchdowns. He was named the Section V offensive player of the year for the second year in a row, and broke the Section V career rushing record with 5,402 yards.

In late 2005 Collier visited Pittsburgh and later committed.

College

Collier didn't see much playing time in his freshman year, and totaled 115 yards and 2 touchdowns on 33 attempts. His best effort was on September 23 against Citadel, where he had 13 carries for 54 yards and a touchdown.
