Kerridge Commercial Systems are used by distributors, merchants and retailers in various industries to manage business processes including purchases, sales, stocks, deliveries as well as financial control. With its software development roots starting in 1976 with a business history dating back to 1907, Kerridge Commercial Systems are deployed at more than 3000 trade locations worldwide serving more than 50,000 users.
As originally part of ADP (), a Fortune 500 company, and previous to that Kerridge Computer Company, the company started trading under Kerridge Commercial Systems in March 2010, following a management buy-out (MBO). K8 Software and Services
K8 and the predecessor software solution, Rev 7, have been supported for over 30 years and is used by trading divisions of multi-nationals as well as independent distributors, wholesalers and retailers. K8 is an integrated business management system, designed to assist distribution business, from quotation management and sales order processing through to business intelligence, inventory forecasting and financial reporting. Powered by Oracle, K8 is a multi-company, multi-branch and multi-currency ERP system for companies of all sizes and scalable from 3 to 5000+ workstations.
Acquisitions
In October 2011, Kerridge Commercial Systems acquired TIS Software headquartered in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire, UK and trading under the brands Strategix OneOffice and Global Business Systems.
In October 2012 Kerridge Commercial Systems announced acquisition of Datawright Ltd Based in Washington, Tyne and Wear. Datawright, with its Kingfisher product, specialises in solutions for the manufacturing sector with a client base in the UK and an international presence in China, Sweden, UAE and the USA.
