Kenneth Grant Winans
Kenneth Grant Winans (born November 9, 1963) is an American investment manager, author, and philanthropist. He is the founder of Winans Investments, a financial research and asset management firm, and has developed several proprietary stock market indices.
Biography
Winans began his career at EF Hutton & Co. in the mid-1980s and later worked as a technical analyst at Merrill Lynch. In 1992, he founded Winans Investments (originally Winans International), an investment advisory firm based in Novato, California.
He earned an MBA in Finance from the University of San Francisco and, in 2011, received the Gold Medal for Distinguished Achievement from The Holland Society of New York.
In 2019, the World Record Academy recognized him for receiving the most awards for a finance author.
