A Small number of countries compete, but this list is ever growing, and the Trophy is now a thriving event, eagerly anticipated throughout the World.
History
The Kendo Nagasaki Christmas Challenge Trophy first took place during the festive season of 2005. A select group of participants joined together in a celebration of sport and alcohol.

The 2006 tournament saw new nations enter the tournament with the introduction of El Salvador and Wales.

2007 Tournament
On Sunday 25th November the Kendo Nagasaki Christmas Challenge Trophy of 2007 was declared officially open. The opening ceremony was concluded when the Isle of Man revealed the hitherto confidential contents of the Kendo Challenge list.
