Ken Okey Iwunwa

Dr. Ken Okey Iwunwa has a PhD in economics. He is an entrepreneur, political radio host and a magazine columnist. He hails from Oforola in Owerri-Imo State. His weekly articles appear on Ran-Rave Political Magazine, American Chronicles and Townhall.com political magazine.

Educated at Harvard University (Executive Management); Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Economics) and at the University of Portharcourt, Nigeria, Dr. Iwunwa also has other advanced executive diplomas in Business Strategy; Governance & Team Effectiveness; Leading Change in Complex Organizations, and Decision Making & Leadership.

His professional career started on Wall Street, New York as commodity broker. He later joined Retriever Interchange Payment Systems as VP-Growth Strategies. Though he lives in United States, he has done works for African corporations, including investment banks. He consulted for Smartpay Nig Ltd and briefly worked as interim Vice President/ senior economist for TKSL Mortgage Bankers Nig. Ltd in 2001-2003 while visiting Nigeria. In 2003-4, he worked as Interim Speech Strategist to the Ambassador of Nigeria to the United States.

Dr Iwunwa is a media personality on KLUP-radio (TX) and WEAA-radio (MD), and KRPC-Television, Houston, Texas. He founded the following companies: National Auto Corp; Timeline Newspaper Co; Ashley & George Online Library Co; and Texas Business Info Network. His company, National Auto Corp won the award of 50 Best Business Concepts in 2007 by Auto Industry Magazine. Ken himself is ranked as one of the 1000 young and very educated black entreprenuers in San Antonio by San Antonio Enterprise magazine. Ken is currently editing a new film that is billed for production in late 2010
