Kella (Obernewtyn Chronicles)

Little is known AbOUT Kella before the second book. She is Ward of the Healer guild at Obernewtyn and accompanies Elspeth Gordie and the rest of the crew on their expedition to find Dragon. Bonds to Domick at the end of the Farseekers and together they travel to Sutrium to set up a safe house. The life is demanding on Kella due to the outburst of the plague as well as Domick's distance from her. Eventually her marriage breaks down and she leaves Domick in Sutrium when she travels to Sador and then back to Obernewtyn. She was primary carer of Dragon whilst she was comatosed.

In The Keeping Place we learn that Kella bares deep emotional scars from her time in Sutrium and is determind to go back and find Domick. She eventually returns to Sutrium but is unable to locate him. After the rebellion Kella runs the healing center in the city. It was described that by healing people Kella healed herself. She is very strong in her own way, by healing others it helps her to forget what else is going on around her, and therefore she heals herself, she is also a very curious person, asking many questions of people.
