Quotes
St. Bernard Coach Rob Carpentier on Pour: "He's had a lot of 'wow' [moments] this season," "He's scored in every conceivable way. He's also set other people up in every conceivable way."
"They know every time they step on the field the best player out there is on our team," he said. "We've scored 78 goals as a team, so we're not a one-man team. But I'm convinced none of that would have happened had he not been here. The leadership he gives is infectious."
"We had never scored a goal on their field before," Carpentier said. "He dribbled around and through seven guys on a foot that was so bad he couldn't strike the ball. So he went all the way in and put a pooch kick in." "The Breck coach [George Stuempfig] told me it was the best goal he has seen in 10 years."
"If he was at a bigger high school he wouldn't have 37 goals, but his assist numbers would be up," Carpentier said. "He would have more finishers around him. I have a lot of friends in the game with some good connections on the professional level, and raw-skill wise they say he is ready to play in the MLS or First Division in England. He can play anywhere."
