Kausik Bhaduri

Kausik Bhaduri is a writer born in Howrah, West Bengal and currently living in Orissa. He is known for his Bengali writing Erkagraph. Besides being a writer, he is also a mechanical engineer and works as a Senior Manager at National Aluminium Company lmt, Orissa.

Early life

Kausik's Bhadhuri was born in Baghbazar. He spent his first 23 years in Santragachi, Howrah and attended school at Santragachi Kedarnath Institution. He earned a B.Sc. from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. He became a Marine Engineer (B.Sc., B.O.A.T, A.M.I.E. Mech).<ref name=milansagar>

Working life

He worked at Kolkata Port Trust from 1977 to 1981. The next two years he spent working at sea and then joined National Aluminium Company lmt, Nalko, Orissa. Presently he is a senior manager of the power plant division of the company.<ref name=milansagar/>

Writings

He started writing at the age of 15. In 1977, he published a Little Magazine with friends. He took up writing again after many years.<ref name=milansagar/>
