Kate Roberts (curator)
Kate Roberts (born April 3, 1959) is an exhibits curator at the Minnesota Historical Society in St. Paul, Minnesota and author of Minnesota 150: The People, Places, and Things That Shape Our State (2007).
Education
She studied at the Moorhead State University, and received the Ph.D. in Art History from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in 1990.
Professional career
Since 1989, Kate Roberts has been an exhibits curator at the Minnesota Historical Society in St. Paul, where she has been responsible for the inaugural exhibit at the Minnesota History Center, "Minnesota A to Z" (opened 1992); the exhibits at the visitor center of the Mille Lacs Indian Museum in Onamia, Minnesota (1995); the exhibits at the Mill City Museum in Minneapolis (2004); and most recently the exhibit for the state's sesquicentennial, "MN150", which opened at the History Center in St. Paul in 2007. She is the author of Minnesota 150: The People, Places, and Things That Shape Our State (2007).
