Karim Darbaki
Karim Darbaki, (born April 7th, 1992 in United States), is a Moroccan soccer Midfielder. He currently plays for St. Paul Twin Stars and Shattuck/St. Mary's U-17 boys team in the United States.
Youth career
Karim played for both Bangu FC at U-13, U-14, and U-15 age levels, and is currently in his second year with Black Hawks FC U-17. Karim also plays with Shattuck-St.Mary's U-17 and U-18 teams. Shattuck-St. Mary's U-18 boys made it to the US Youth National Championship in 2008.
Career
He is currently playing for the St. Paul Twin Stars under Head Coach and father Youssef Darbaki. Karim played in the NPSL with the St. Paul Twin Stars at age 15 and 16, scoring 3 goals, 2 of which were against the Milwaukee Bavarians. Karim is called up to try out with the Moroccan U-20 National Team in June 14.
Personal honors
- 2007 Mr. Soccer Award in the State in Minnesota for the U-16 age level.
- 2008 Champion of the NPSL Midwest Conference.
- 2008 2nd in the Final Four in New York and Second in the Nation.
