AbOUT Us
Kalyanam has been established in 1988 (Reg No: 3256/1988-89) by visionary social activist Mr. Tribhuvan Nath Tripathi. He started the organization to support the education of under privileged kids. Later, he established two educational institutions in the village of Gauriganj, Amethi, UP, India.
Unfortunately, Mr. Tripathi died in a car accident on 18th May 1995, leaving many stones unturned including Kalyanam. Kalyanam was in dormant state from then till 2008. But now, it is has taken re-birth to re-install the faith among under-privileged kids. Today we reach out to hundreds of villagers and encourage the need of education among children.

Belief
Kalyanam believes that the future of the country depend upon the future of the children and the future of the children depend upon the proper education. Poverty is not only related to hunger or homelessness. It relates to the consequences of being uneducated thus making the children incapable of coping up with problems of life and improving their social and financial status . Kalyanam understands all aspects of poverty and emphasizes education as an effective remedy. We do this by channelizing the concern, goodwill, time, money and skills of thousands of individuals, like you, towards child development initiatives . We support work at the grassroots-level to restore basic rights to children and the most basic right is their “Right of Education”
