Kalli Purie is an Indian businesswoman. She is the Chief Creative Officer of the India Today Group and holds the additional responsibility of Chief Operating Officer and the Director of India Today Conclave.
Education and Personal Life
Kalli Purie did her schooling from Modern School, New Delhi, and graduated from Oxford University in Politics, Philosophy & Economics as mentioned by her in Confessions of a Serial Dieter the book written by her.
Career
She has worked in several roles in the India Today group since 1996. She began as a marketing executive and reporter for the flagship magazine India Today and worked in many capacities in the different divisions of the group spanning print, television and digital.
Purie is the Chief Operating Officer of India Today Group Digital. The company manages all the digital properties of India Today Group viz: Aaj Tak, India Today, Headlines Today, Cosmopolitan India, Men’s Health, Business Today, Wonder Woman, Oye 104.8 fm, etc.
Purie is the Chief Creative Office of India Today Group. In this capacity, she manages the Group’s creative expression disseminated through the magazine covers and marketing communications.
From 2011 onwards, Purie has taken up the role of the Director of India Today Conclave, an annual event which converges leading politicians, movie stars, celebrities, and educationists etc. from across the globe to discuss various global topics.
