KAAN Architecten
KAAN Architecten is a Netherlands based architectural firm founded in 2014 and by operating in a global context, KAAN merges practical and academic expertise within the fields of architecture, urbanism, research and strategy.
The Rotterdam studio is led by Kees Kaan, Vincent Panhuysen, Dikkie Scipio and an international team of architects, landscape architects, urban planners, engineers and graphic designers. KAAN Architecten was originally founded as Claus en Kaan Architecten Rotterdam.
Current Projects
KAAN Architecten recently completed the Education Center Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam, The Netherlands that won the Rotterdam Architecture Prize 2013.
Current projects includes the new Supreme Court of the Netherlands in The Hague; the renovation and expansion of the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium; the new crematorium in Aalst, Belgium; the Planta museum in Lleida, Spain and several French projects such as the Chambre de Metiers et de l'Artisanat in Lille and the Institut des Sciences Moléculaire d'Orsay in Paris.
