Junior versions of cartoon characters

James BOND Jr. is an American animated series for television in which the title character (supposedly the nephew of The Famous secret agent James Bond) defeats threats to the safety of the free world with the help of his friends IQ (supposedly the grandson of Q) and Gordo Leiter (supposedly the son of Felix Leiter). Expanding on his uncle's famous line, James Bond Jr.'s catch phrase was "Bond, James Bond. Junior."

Oz Kids focuses on the children of the Cowardly Lion, Jack Pumpkinhead, Tin Man, Scarecrow, and Dorothy.

Donkey Kong Junior was a segment on the "Saturday Supercade" show. It is AbOUT DK Jr. and his friend Bones and their adventures searching for Kong's missing father.

The Teen Titans first appeared in The Brave and the Bold #54 (July 1964), portrayed as a junior Justice League consisting of Robin, Kid Flash, and Aqualad, joining together as had their mentors (respectively, Batman, The Flash, and Aquaman).

Perhaps the most famous junior versions of cartoon characters are the Tiny Toons (Babs and Buster Bunny, Plucky Duck, Hamton J. Pig, Furrball, Sweetie, Elmyra Duff, Montana Max, Dizzy Devil and others) from Warner Bros. and Amblin Entertainment's Tiny Toon Adventures. In that series the Tiny Toons were the proteges of the classic Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies characters including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Sylvester J. Pussycat, Tweety, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam and Taz.
